Bryn is the Senior Associate Director of Alumni Career Services at the MIT Sloan School of Management. A career strategist and coach, Bryn has successfully worked with hundreds of MBA students and alumni at leading graduate business schools for 17 years.
Bryn’s philosophy is that everyone should have an opportunity to pursue a career path that leverages their natural strengths and gives them a sense of purpose. She finds great meaning in working with professionals who want to be intentional about their career management strategy. Bryn guides her clients to be authentic to who they are – empowering them to own their professional path, cultivate their professional brand, and confidently market their achievements.
At MIT Sloan, Bryn provides guidance and delivers workshops related to job search strategy, resumes, cover letters and LinkedIn, intelligent networking, interviewing and salary negotiation.
Bryn joined MIT in 2006 to lead the career office’s Employer Relations team. Previously, she held roles in MBA Admissions at Babson College and MBA program management at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Prior to working in higher education, Bryn served as an AmeriCorps*VISTA volunteer, traveled the world with the multicultural performing arts organization Up With People, and honed her relationship management skills as Client Services Director of a Denver-based event marketing firm.
Bryn holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an Ed.M in Higher Education from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education. She resides outside of Boston, MA with her husband and two young sons.
The event will include time for dinner, networking with other alums, and meeting the speaker/Q&A.
