K-12 Holiday Mixer at Mathobotix in Irvine:  Families are encouraged to attend - there will be kids activities with the Mathobotix staff.

Join Professor Eric Klopfer, director of the Scheller Teacher Education Program and the Education Arcade, as he discusses the state of games in education.  Focusing on his lab's current major product, The Radix Endeavor, Eric will talk about the philosophies of teaching STEM curriculum through the power of games.  He will also give an update on the STEP program (for which the MIT Club of Southern California provides scholarships for local teachers).  Thursday, December 27 at 5:30 PM.   (Note the earlier, kid friendly time.) Registration cost:  Free

Limited to 40 attendees. (Event is full as of 12/24 at 9 PM PST)
